SUMMARY

While this collection of short stories is fictional, it is inspired by the wartime experiences of Kenneth Levin as well as other comrades, allies, mercenaries, civilians, and North Vietnamese soldiers from the days of the Vietnam War.  Some of the stories speak to great tragedy, others expose man's cruelty in wartime, and still others reveal that humor and love can still exist even in dire situations.  This book does not glorify war, but instead explores the powerful impact war has on human life.
